Knitted fabrics and flannel

A knitted shirt moves softly with you thanks to its looped fabric structure. Lighter styles work on their own; heavier ones layer over a T-shirt. Flannel adds texture, while Tencel blends create a fluid drape. Choose the fabric for its feel against the skin and the silhouette you prefer, from structured to softly flowing.

Choose the fit and sleeve length

If you plan to layer a shirt over a T-shirt, allow room through the chest and shoulders. When buttoned, the placket should not pull between buttons as you move. Check the length of a loose-fitting shirt too: a roomy cut does not necessarily mean a long body. Short sleeves suit lighter outfits, while long sleeves give you more layering options in cooler weather.

How to style your shirt

Wear it over a basic T-shirt with men’s trousers, or choose knitted shorts for warmer days. Leave a substantial shirt open for a casual outer layer and balance its volume with the shape of your trousers or shorts.

In cooler weather, wear a shirt over a men’s long sleeve T-shirt. Check the chest and sleeve width of both garments so the outer layer does not compress the one beneath it or restrict movement.

How should I wash and dry these items?

Follow the individual care label: wash temperature, spin and drying instructions can vary. Separate colours, avoid overloading the machine and do not use hot drying unless the manufacturer permits it.

Can natural fibres shrink?

Cotton and other cellulosic fabrics can shrink after washing. A gentle programme following the care label and drying without excessive heat help preserve the fit. Choose your size using the individual style’s size chart; where its description gives a length-shrinkage allowance, take that into account when comparing measurements.

How long does delivery take?

How do exchanges and returns work?

Contact us within 14 calendar days of receipt to arrange an exchange or return. Keep the item in its original condition with its tags and proof of purchase; it must be unworn and unwashed.
