A bit of history and theory:
Pima cotton is named after the Native Americans living in the Arizona region. It was developed in the early 1900s by combining Peruvian and Egyptian cotton. Pima fibers are the longest in the world, making them exceptionally soft and flexible, with a feel similar to cashmere. Additionally, Pima cotton is lighter and much stronger than regular cotton and is hand-picked to preserve its structure.
Pima cotton is used to create exquisite yarns and fabrics, yet it makes up only 3% of all cotton products. Owning a Pima cotton item means you have a high-quality, premium garment. Source: Wikipedia
