Understanding brushed fabric

Fleece styles have a brushed reverse that changes the fabric’s feel and traps a layer of air close to the body. For example, the basic fleece hoodie set uses 65% cotton and 35% polyester at 320 g/m². Other models may have different specifications. A fleece tracksuit does not replace windproof or waterproof outerwear; comfort depends on the complete combination of layers.

Compare the waist, trouser length, top width and sleeve measurements. If wearing a jacket over the set, avoid excessive fabric bunching at the shoulders. Is there a guaranteed temperature rating?

How should I wash a fleece set and can it shrink?
